Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Publication Fees

This journal charges no fees of any kind to authors at any stage of the editorial process: no submission fee, no APC (Article Processing Charge), no page charges, no color charges.

Peer Review Process

All suitable manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review with a minimum of two independent external reviewers. The average evaluation time is 60 to 90 business days.

Ethics and Conflict of Interest

By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that the work is original and unpublished, that all co-authors have given consent, that conflicts of interest have been declared, and that appropriate ethics approvals have been obtained when research involves humans or animals.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

Authors must disclose in the methods section or acknowledgements any use of generative AI tools beyond style correction. AI tools cannot be listed as authors or cited as academic sources.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Revisión bibliográfica

Esta sección se dedica al análisis crítico, sistematización e integración de la literatura científica existente sobre un tema específico de relevancia actual.

  • Política Editorial: No se aceptan meros resúmenes de autores; el artículo debe proponer una síntesis crítica, identificar vacíos en el conocimiento y plantear futuras líneas de investigación. Se valoran especialmente las revisiones sistemáticas y los meta-análisis que organicen la información sobre recursos amazónicos, tecnologías emergentes o modelos pedagógicos regionales.

  • Requisitos Clave: El autor debe especificar los criterios de búsqueda, las bases de datos consultadas (ej. Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO) y el periodo de tiempo analizado. La bibliografía debe ser exhaustiva y estar actualizada (preferiblemente de los últimos 5 años).

  • Extensión sugerida: Entre 6,000 y 10,000 palabras.

Investigación Original

Esta sección constituye el núcleo de la producción científica de la revista. Recibe manuscritos que presenten resultados inéditos derivados de procesos de investigación empírica, experimental o descriptiva.

  • Política Editorial: Los manuscritos deben presentar una contribución clara al conocimiento científico en las áreas de ingeniería, medio ambiente, agroindustria, educación o cultura. Se exige una descripción detallada de la metodología (sea analítica instrumental, de campo o cuantitativa/cualitativa) que permita la reproducibilidad del estudio.

  • Requisitos Clave: Los artículos deben incluir obligatoriamente: Introducción, Metodología, Resultados, Discusión y Conclusiones. Se dará prioridad a investigaciones que aborden la valorización de recursos sostenibles y soluciones a problemáticas territoriales.

  • Extensión sugerida: Entre 5,000 y 8,000 palabras (excluyendo referencias).

Estudio de Caso

Esta sección permite documentar experiencias específicas, aplicaciones técnicas o fenómenos particulares que, por su singularidad o impacto, merecen ser difundidos en la comunidad académica.

  • Política Editorial: Se aceptan trabajos que describan de forma profunda y detallada situaciones reales, tales como la implementación de un proceso industrial en una localidad específica, el análisis de una comunidad amazónica ante un cambio ambiental, o el resultado de una innovación educativa en un aula determinada. El objetivo es proporcionar lecciones aprendidas y aplicaciones prácticas replicables.

  • Requisitos Clave: Debe incluir una justificación del porqué el caso es relevante, una descripción minuciosa del contexto, las acciones tomadas y una reflexión crítica sobre los resultados obtenidos (positivos o negativos).

  • Extensión sugerida: Entre 3,000 y 5,000 palabras.
