About the Journal

Horizontes Amazónicos is a multidisciplinary, open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to the dissemination of original research on the Amazon region and analogous ecosystems. The journal advances knowledge across two main axes: exact and environmental sciences (agriculture, biotechnology, analytical chemistry, and ecology) and social sciences (education, identity, and sociocultural development). Its core mission is to build a rigorous bridge between technological innovation, natural capital conservation, and community progress, projecting territorial science into a global context.
